From 1 October 1999 until early 2026 I worked as a senior consultant and lift adviser at Bureau Veritas Solutions. Over more than 26 years I built up deep knowledge and broad practical experience in lift management and lift administration.

I now carry that expertise forward as an independent consultant under HERMAT Lift Consultancy. Independent, personal, and with no commercial ties to lift suppliers or maintenance companies.

I offer the support you need to keep your lift installations safe, reliable and cost efficient. The service is flexible and wide ranging, from a single specific piece of advice to full lift management.

    A specialist course in applying NEN 2767 to transport and electrical installations. That specific knowledge underpins my condition surveys.

    Independent and self-employed. Survey data goes into the Prognotice software, producing a transparent and traceable overview of the technical condition.

HERMAT is not a lift supplier, a maintenance company or an inspection body. I have no stake in a particular supplier or a particular solution. That is precisely why the assessment is worth something.
